BA International Relations, Global Economy and Strategy
Course Overview:
The main purpose of the four-year program is to provide advanced knowledge in an interdisciplinary approach that intends to combine six separated but still interlinked sectors of international life. First, international relations. Second, international political economy. Third, European integration, regional, strategic and economic developments. Fourth, strategy in international politics and enterprises. Fifth, Cyber-War, Energy and Geopolitics. Sixth, terrorism and International Security. Graduates should acquire skills that will help them to understand the structure, features, and functions of the international system regarding international politics, international political economy and state policies and strategies. The orientations of state’s strategic options and the way politics, economy, trade, financial flows, and investments influence states’ policies as sovereign

Career:
"International Relations graduates go on to work in a range of fields including government (Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs in Cyprus and Abroad) academic, journalism, banking, research, humanitarian organisations and international organisations."
Course aims:
- To provide knowledge on the six separated but still interlinked sectors of international life: International Relations, international political economy, European integration, regional, strategic and economic developments, strategy in international politics and enterprises, Cyber-War, Energy and Geopolitics and terrorism and International Security
- To provide advanced knowledge in International Relations
- To provide students with the knowledge of the structure of the international politics, economy and state policies
Entry requirements:
- High School Leaving Certificate or
- 4 IGCSEs and relative foundation year or
- 3 “A” Levels in relative subjects
- IELTS certificate or relative - 6.0 for degree entry
- Students with no English certificates can join our EAP (English for academic purposes) courses prior to joining the course
